Just ordered my kde 600xf-1100 g3
Need to know part number for a pinion 15 tooth m.07
6mm shaft diameter . Please help I looked at mil USA site but logo 500 pinion don't specify Id please help me

EDIT TItle
Ok so which m1 main gear ? Which pinion ?
do I use the 106 tooth or 175 ??

EDIT:

I ordered the 04622 CB with mast support (6mm bearing on cb) 30mm mtr mount

04635-11 tooth M1 pinion 6MM bore 14mm width
04621- herringbone main gear 106 tooth 13mm M1 (13mm ?????)huh though it was 14mm ??

so now last night dry fit the motor to motor mount ?? my 5503d kit came with 25mm motor mount my motor will work with either but my cb is 30mm mounting so had to order the 30mm motor mount this should be a option upgrade on their site. most motor are 6mm shaft these days ? then is all gets confusing with the gear stuff. jusst a upgrade kit with pinion main gear, maybe a second upgrade kit with the cb and mast support , JUST MY OPINION ** hint hint MIKADO USA **

so final thing did i need to order a new main shaft? using the mast support ?? my cb and mast support said logo 500/14 but that kit didnt come with a new main shaft ??

I am not sure if they offer one. I was going to drop a 6mm shaft motor in my Logo and the easiest solution I found was the mod 1 gears. The mod 1 pinions are for 6mm motors.

Ok curious do they sell a kit inc the COunter bearing pinion n gear mod 1. Or do I have to order piece by piece ? And will the mod 1.0 work with my OWB ? I have a logo 5003d kit

Has any one ever drilled out their pinion from 5mm to 6mm ??

Can I use the logo 600 counter bearing with the main shaft support ?

Look under the 550SX parts. If you need a 6mm bore 15T .7 mod pinion, the part number is: 04215

Also the CB for the 550SX will fit with that motor as well

Think the 04212 is a 5mm bore ??
Don't think they make a m7 15 tooth 6mm

They do for m1 04415

So guess I ll b switching to m1 so can I use the 04837 cb for the 600 ?? It comes with the 6mm brg and looks like new main shaft too to give space below the OWB n mast support for the c ring clip is the drive train spacing the same on the 500 as the 600 or do I need a new brg for the 500 counter bearing 04714?? Or do I use the 690 sx cb 04881 which say logo 500/14 ?? So many option again I am flying a 5003d plastic frame

You can just swap the shaft in the motor as well

This being the new release of the 1100 g3 they only make it 6mm I think I remember Patrick saying so I could lathe it but my lathe is dated from the 60s n hasn't seen new bearing since the early 90s so trusting a new hardened shaft to lathe not doable but drilling my 5mm pinion to 6 n keeping it centered ?? We will see I do want to do it right so I do plan to upgrade to m1 & CB support for the new motor but with my wife expecting our second in oct my Heli acct is running on fumes so I gonna try drilling out the pinion first n make a parts list for the m1 switch over.

Still would love to know if the cb Center to mast center is the same on the 500 600 & 690 sx ?? I m thinking it Isnt ?? Well let me rephrase that the m7 spacing is xxx while the m1 spacing is xxx the another m7 cb 25mm mounting n the m1 mounting is 30mm ?? This is too confusing

Man I can't figure this out which main gear 106 or 175 ?? My mo7 was 153 I think and a14 tooth pinion I think give me 10.9:1 ratio so I was thinking 175 with a 13 ? But the OWB on the 700 has 6 bolts ?? I Think my 5003d OWB has 4 ?

Please help I tried drilling out my pinion but its not centered and has a wobble

The new 550/600 SX helis use a wider maingear (13mm I think). The older 5003d/600 helis used a slightly thinner maingear. The older version mod 1 106t maingear will bolt to your one-way from the 5003d kit. If you have already modified your 500 3d kit for the newer pinion/mainshaft support, I am not sure exactly which parts to use for the mod 1 conversion.

I am not sure about the counter-bearing setup, my 5003d doesn't have a pinion support and I never added one to it. I think the 550sx and 600sx use the same pinions support setup with just a different bearing to support the motor pinion (5mm or 6mm). That is just a guess though, I have not compared them side by side.

Ok I have not ordered a cb or mast support yet still trying to figure which I need ?

I want to make the mod 1 convert but 106 how can I get the ratio when they start at 11 tooth for 6mm mtr shaft ??

New motor on the way kde 600xf 1100 g3 so it has a lot more power but I only sport fly with mild aero so prob went over kill on the new kde but figured I use less head speed n efficiency goes up

Then the new 14mm thick gear it 11 & 12 tooth pinion and 175 but bigger OWB

There are now 2 different mod 1 main gears. Both are 106t. The older version is part # 04183 and has pinions available from 11t to 15t. That's the one you want on a 500 or 550 if you need larger than a 12t pinion. The new 600sx main gear is #04621 and the only pinions available are 11t and 12t. It's not really needed on a 550 but will work if you don't need ballistic HS.

Also, there is no upgraded one way for the 550 or 600sx. The 690sx uses a new one way but it should not be needed on a 550 or 600. I'm not sure it can even be fitted to a 550 or 600sx due to the 690sx using a different counter bearing and tail drive.

What head speed are you aiming for? For 2300 Mr. Mel's calculator recommends an 11t pinion with the mod 1 main gear.

1900-2100 target I never use it all though with my current hacker I used 153/14=10.9 ratio so 106 /11=9.8:1 will that heat up the motor ??

What ESC are you planning to use? With the YGE and Vbar governor you would be good with the mod 1 and 11t pinion. According to Mr. Mel's calculator your ideal HS would be 2177 so 2100 would be good. The YGE also has the active freewheel like Kontroniks so you could run lower head speeds as well.
