A friend of mine found one in the river recently and asked if I'd help find it's owner.

I'm sorry but this post made me laugh especially with all the goof balls flying them on YouTube and the news lately. I hope that you find the owner.

We're on the same page. It was found near a popular flying field.

I helped a pilot search for a multirotor he lost while flying at dusk at ircha. Nah, doubt it drifted all the way to St Louis.

Enjoy things that money can buy IF you don't lose the things money can't buy.

Duh, just read the AMA tag that everyone is required to apply and anyone else who wants to recover their expensive gear applies to their models. Everyone does tag their models right?

I know a guy that lost one so I am trying to hit him up for specifics to see if they match up.

Thanks, T.J.

why would you tag your model like the AMA suggests? so whom ever finds it can sue you because it flew through their windshield and killed their defenseless puppy?.. nope, sorry. These days a fly away is just that for me, Im walkin.

Maybe someone wanted a birds eye view of the "peaceful" demonstrations? I'm surprised though a "drone" hasn't made an appearance in Ferguson yet. The media would eat that right up.

That's a great point. You'd think the media would be using them already for close in tight work.

Honestly, anyone with a lick of sense is staying as far away from Ferguson as they can. A quad or anything else would just be fodder for the fire there right now..

btw, hope all is well Jason, haven't seen you in awhile..

Oh damn, it must be mine. Lemme know how much you need to ship it back to California......

The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
