Thanks to PARA we are able to have a fantastic flying site to host events complete with electricity, water, and restrooms.

Camping:
If you would like to bring a pull along camper, or if you have a large RV you are welcome to park them in the parking lot at our field. Please keep in mind, there are no hook-ups! We will leave the restrooms open through the night.

Electric flyers:
Those of you who fly electrics are encouraged to bring items you would normally use if you were in a location that did not have electricity available. We do have electricity at our field, however, it does have limitations. If you have a powerful charging set-up please have your normal power plant with you just in case.

I will be there both days. Hope to have a lot of people at this event because this is a First Class flying facility. There are 4 pavilions with 3 large metal tables under each one. All have electricity, lights and a concrete floor. There is also plenty of room to set up canopies. There are Womens and Mens restrooms that are climate controlled and have flush toilets. There are 2 sets of bleachers for spectators plus another pavilion with picnic tables. The field has plenty of flying room so come and join us for a great event. The address for the facility is - 6198 Watermelon Road, Northport AL. The GPS Coordinates are N33o16.698 W087o31.980

The weather looks good for this event next weekend. The forecast for Friday is sunny, 74 deg. and 6 mph wind. Saturday is sunny, 76 deg. and 8 mph wind. The chance for rain both days is 0 percent. Looking forward to a great event and seeing everyone again. Steve
