Hi, I am new to the RC Heli World. I just finished my first assembly and purchased a 450L Dominator. The Heli takes off fine but as soon as it is off the ground the tail waggles back and forth. Can anyone help with this issue?

Thank in advance!

Most of us flying the 450 Dominator have moved the servo ball in closer to center on the tail servo arm. You need to drill a new hole closer to center about same distance from inner hole as inner is from outer.

Thank you for your tip. I will try ot and get back to you.

Is there any possiblity that the 3GX software is affecting the tail? I am still running V4.0

Regards!

James!

Tail gain on the TX is what you reduce to remove wag, but with ball in stock location you will need to take gain too low.

Also update 3GX to 5.0

All fixed. I updated the software, changed the ball link on the servo, but it was still waggling a bit. I decided to take the tail assembly off and as soon as I loosened the collar screw that goes into the control link, it was fixed. Apparently I tightened the screw too much and didn´t allow for proper travel.

Thank for the help. I´ll let you guys know how she handles.

The Heli handles incredible. WOW, does this beast have power!
Very stable in high winds, the 3gx maintains stability and corrects automatically to gusts of wind.
