Hey all... I'm new here and this is my first post ever on this forum. Very cool site you've got btw.
I'm not a total beginner but not a pro whatsoever. I love learning this stuff and I learn pretty quick. This is my first true flybarless heli. (been on 130x for quite a while now and ready for the next step in my training....So I got a new Blade 300cfx.
I really like it a lot so far (8 flights or so) but have a few observations about the factory setup (I'm on a DX6i) and how you guys have set yours up. My CFX is totally stock btw.My 7200BX came with 2 items in the Parameter setup different that what the manual says are default:
E: Stick Deadband was set on 3/RED SOLID. (manual says default is 2)
G: Cyclic Response was set on NORMAL/PURPLE.
Doing my careful test flights, mostly hovering and slow turns and getting used to it I feel like it's a bit un-responsive/mushy feeling on the sticks/wanders quite a bit.
I leveled the swashplate so its stays in one place hovering now.
So I changed E and G to the defaults. Seems a little better, but I still feel like it's not as "tight" as my 130x feels.
I'm no sure what to try next. What will make this feel more like my 130x that I'm so confident with the feel? I like the sticks to feel super sensitive/responsive.
I was thinking more cyclic response on the beast? Pro or Extreme.
I'm running 0 expo, rates at 100%, always in flight mode right after take off.
Thanks for your responses. I'd like to hear what other 3d guys are running on the 300cfx.
