OK, I can't resist. Will it have a sound generator for that trademark Harley sound? Also how about the vibration? It just wouldn't be a Harley without these two key ingredients.

I wonder how far it will go on a charge. I know it will be a rocket ride because electrics have tons of torque. Too bad it will not be for sale anytime soon.

I'd buy it, just from the articles statement, "jet like sound."

The range is about 130 miles per charge and about 1hr to recharge.

The current reigning market leader in eMotorcycles is "Zero" - they have over 1/2 the marketshare and make about 2500 bikes per year.
They make some awesome street and off-road bikes

that's exactly why they want to enact a mileage tax on how much you drive. Also why they're voting this week to up the gas tax.

Seems like
no matter how much they tax us the roads never get fixed, at least around my neck of the woods.

Potholes a plenty, some craters.

wonder if wet weather riding is totally taboo on one of these...

I think one would be alright if it was at least as comfortable as a sporty to ride

I'm glad HD is engineering towards the future. Water cooled touring bikes, electric motorcycles, what's next. I can't wait to see !

I made a mistake once, but I was wrong?

Just think if Harley keeps this up they may actually build a bike as good as a Honda Gold Wing...

A goldwing
is not really a motorcycle, it`s a car on 2 wheels.

Imagine...

"Officer, not only did I not see it but I even did not HEAR it coming when I changed lanes...honestly."

Then there's DEER crossings...yikes!

Nice indeed

Guess that proves that a Harley must ride like a Log Truck if a Goldwing is so comfortable that it rides like a car ahhhhhhhhhhh so smooth

Hey I'm sorry it's not a HD but you will have to agree more than likely it will get you there without needing tools or having to soak your a$$ in a hot tube for 3 days. But hey you have swallowed the HD Kool Aid so enjoy. I don't need to buy HD themed toilet paper to go in my HD themed bathroom. If I want a REAL bike I'll take a Goldwing or Indian or Victory or maybe even a Scooter over a overpriced HD M/C to make me feel like a man with all that vibration under my a$$. But hey that's what makes the world go around and as P. T. Barnum once said There's a sucker born every minute.

Just for you Scott.....http://harley-sucks.com/

Sold my 07 ultra due to back surgery and the recovery time. when it was time to ride again H-D priced themselves out of my range both new and used. Found an 89 Wing in a barn for $1000 added $1000 to get it back on the road and a few upgrades. After 37 years of riding everything from old KZ900's to to my Ultra I really appreciate the Wing and it's capabilities. It was way ahead of it's time and voted best touring bike for it's entire model run. Sometimes I miss a couple of my old Harley's mainly my old DWG and Road King. The one thing that makes me really crack up is that RUB on a rushmore looking down his nose at my wing like he's been riding all of his life wannabe's are so clueless..........

Something has always gotta be beat on. The attention the e-bike is getting around the web isn't pretty for the most part. Lots of people hate the H-D logo on a jap looking e-bike. I could care less I'm not gonna talk s#!^ about it. Hell I'd love to be able to squeeze out hybrid mileage out of my old wing. 35 to 38 depending on how I ride at best.
