What are the best and brightest nav and anti collision lights?

I have tried RC Lights and more recently RC Aerodynes anti collsion lights. But RC Aerodynes did not provide a good way to mount and both lights broke when I attempted to mount them with zip ties.

Has anyone tried Vario's lights? Ideally I would like nav and anticollsion lights that can be seen during the day.

I need to contact RC Aerodyne to replace their strobes.

Thanks.

I have a set of RC Lights and they seem to be very bright, although I've yet to fly them. What was your experience with them?

I stuck my RCA lights through a neat hole in the fuselage with hot glue. I am not sure how I could have secured them with zip ties ?

The Dimension Engineering DeLight kit is good but the lights are not much brighter than the RCA lights.

Bright Lights
I personally use the lighting system from Andy Lowe at Electodynamics located in Livonia Michigan. The system is easy to figure a mount and are very visible even in the bright sunlight. The construction is very robust and handles the daily use very well. My navigation lights come on with my receiver switch and once I start the start sequence on my turbine the blinking anti-collision light starts to flash. Thanks, Dave

I use RC Lights, they're super bright. I have heard good things about east coast scales lighting system, so I'll have to give it a try.

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!

I second the lights from East Coast Vario, I have three sets in use and they work great.

East Coast Scale
They have my vote... have used them in the last 4 scalers and they stand out very nicely during the day too..
Also you can set it up so that you can turn the landing lights on and off without any special switches...
Worth a look for sure...

Good Luck, Stan

The cheapest and brightest lights I have ever used are from motionrc. The driver and light kit is less than 15 bucks. During a evening flight I can see my landing light light up the ground during low passes.
