I'm setting up a silver line for a buddy (brand new install). The v is red (still initialized with the swash jerk) except when the heli is moved, it changes all the different colors rapidly. I'm assuming red is bad just like it was on the blue versions. Did I get a bad sensor? It's plugged into the correct port.

Also if I move the heli, the vbar compensates big time and immediately corrects to the servo limit...
Also the tail corrects so fast (outrage hv 9188) that it shakes the heli and the tail correction begins to "bounce" back and forth until I calm it down by hand. The whole thing seems too sensitive.

Just doesn't seem normal... So I'm not going to maiden it yet. Thoughts?

The light thing sounds like a sensor calibration problem. This alone doesn't usually cause the erratic stuff you're describing.
Something's wrong, you should contact service for sure.

Hi there. I'm curious if you clicked the "Create New Setup" button in the software app before you began setting up the Vbar? I realize this is a new silverline out of the box, but even still. If have already, try to do it again (using the USB cable and on the computer).

Hey so its funny this post is up

I just bought a Silverline from the classified.

It is not mounted on the heli yet. ITs just sitting on my desk.
I went and created a new setup and put some sats on it to make sure it bound ok and everything looked normal.

I noticed when i jiggled the sensor wire the senro flashed all kinds of colors also. I thought it was a short but then i realized it does it when you move the sensor. Also i noticed the main unit is getting rather warm. Not hot but after about 3 or 4 minutes of it in programming mode it is warm.....

Never seen either of these things before and I'm fairly familiar with Vbar.
The heli its for is not built yet so i can't test it yet but this does not seem normal. Has anyone else seen this? Does this sound like the issue the OP is having also?

Was the sensor mounted to anything when you jiggled? Otherwise of course the light would flash [three] colors. Each of the 3 colors represents an axis of rotation.

It's normal , people don't usually see the color flash changes because of where and how the sensor is mounted.
