Cant believe it, I had run it up today in the garden, and left it in my shed charging up..
I left it for 20 mins, with my shed door open all my windows open, my patio doors open.. I was 10 feet away, within 20 mins the next door neighbour came in scouted the garden, gave a thumbs up
and took it, I have 2 CCTV cameras which picked them up scouting the garden and then taking the helicopter out of the garden and handing it over.

What Bstrds.

Feel physically sick..

SO to anyone in the UK keep your eyes open.

It is not worth anything as you cannot get the parts... anymore.

Wow! That's not good Matt!

I assume as you got them on your CCTV cameras and you'll be informing the police, lets hope that they nail them good and proper!

here is the video I uploaded.

The idiot of neighbour said when went I went round his house, and spoke to him and his mum, he said " I told them not to steal it"

so he knew and did not knock on my door to tell me.. what utter scum bags. this is the second time they knicked from our home, they stole my kids brand new bikes, that's why I put up CCTV.

Sorry to hear of your loss, sickening.

They stripped out my shed on two separate occasions many years back.

Keep an eye out on ebay and gum tree.

Hope you reported it to the police and it turns up.

Regards

Thanks for comments guys, felt really sick, I was working on it and said just left it for 10 mins.

found the blade caddy down the alley way this morning, as it was fully fuelled and gassed I hope they get it everywhere in their home..

I am sure it will turn up either in bits or complete, I have put up a good reward for its return..

it is worthless to most people, as it is not as common a Trex or Goblin.

So you know who did it, even a confession by "mum". What are the police doing about it ?

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Fly me over I'll get it back and have those chumps flown to a deserted island before the sun go's down

I am watching ebay for you. Did they get any of the supporting equipment or monitoring attachments for the turbine ? I don't know anything about turbine engines, other than they cost a bizzilian dollars/eros but I suspect these turds will not be able to operate it even if they get a transmitter setup.
Here is one in Denmark, but I am sure it's not yours.

Thanks very much guys for comment well wishes.

Well I had some good news this evening, when we got back the neighbours mum came out to meet me and said she spoke to the two lads who stole it and said I had called the police and she had been raided.

She told them she wanted it returned and when I got home it was waiting for me.. The idiots had tried to start it with no
TX, they had plugged the lypos directly to the receiver, but cos of the old style regulators they could not figure out how to switch it on.

SO I checked over the machine all was well and it started fine.
She said they were worried and scared I had called the police and handed over the CCTV and hoped I would not take it further.

What amazed me was it is the same 2 lads who broke into my other shed ( hence the reason I got CCTV) and stole my sons brand new bike and took a sledge hammer to it.

But I will call the police in the morning and tell them she knew who it was and where they lived. so I expect them to get some sort of punishment despite returning it.

But am very happy to it back. Will give a good look once over,
and fly it next weekend.

Thanks again everyone.

Matt

Congratulations!
Hi, Matt:

Congratulations on your acquisition.

Glad to hear that you got your heli back in a great shape. Nothing hurt.

Please be more cautious in the future.

To play a role as a turbine hobbyist, actually, all of us are very conspicuous in the neighborhood. In other words, we have a much bigger chance to attract thieves and burglaries.

Be careful, to all of us.

Best regards,

How (or why) should he be more cautious? His heli is in his own (fenced in) yard, at his own home. You would think one shouldn't have to worry about people taking things that they know don't belong to them. This type of s#$t really pisses me off.
