My new found love the 3GX awesome I just want to know is
there any tip on how to tweak it from the TX?

I love the quick program and fast response no need for dual rate and expo] it can perform every stunt straight after basic setup.

I hope there might be something extra any of you user can share.

Please don't tell me to ask Alan for he's a maniquin.

It's my only fbl controller I've ever used so I don't have much to compare it to but it does seem to work fine for me. I like being able to set up with the computer or with the flashing lights if you don't have access to a computer.

The only thing I can think of as far as changing the settings from the transmitter would be to use expo and dual rates to slow the controls down or speed them up. I actually just turned off the expo in the fbl controller and use the expo in my transmitter.

Yeah I hear you I have this one siting for awhile I just went to Align and they show me how to set it up, set up is less than 5 min now I am impressed with the performance and I fly mad 3D at certain points.

I kinda like it over the VBAR for I don't have to maximize anything to make it fly like a flybar, I start installing them on all my other Heli. I was hoping there some tip or trick about it by other user seem no one here use it.

Rudy my ignorant list didn't miss ya one bit you pick the wrong thread to troll buddy, now byby forever.

Is it safe to say a 3GX is the same idea FB is to FBL blades. I hear people say they dont like the direct feel vs the V Bar. So if that is the case where u have to turn up very thing on a V Bar ... Than 3GX is the Curtis Youngblood Stick Bangers of FBL Units?!? .... I have one too. I'm gonna give it a shot! I actually did a write for myself on setting up the 3GX a while ago when it's still 2.1. Anyone is welcome to it. PM me.

I learn to fly 3D on the 130X with no expo only b/c I didn't know how to,set it up ( also from ur videos too Pual... LOL)

Won't be anytime soon but will follow up with my findings.

Well all I ever use is Vbar but after I tried the 7200BX I realized that the VBAR is like flying on a simulator. " the
CPU is trying to out fly the pilot.....I've tried several setting inside the Vbar to get it to a direct feel but that never happen. Unless I maximize all the settings and mixing
of the TX.

the 3gx was never my thing because folks was having mechanical
issue, I just now learned the reason why,? That gyro along with the 7200BX don't like vibration of any kind while the VBAR can withstand little vibe.

any vibe on the beastX or 3gx will result in a crash.
I have had a skookum360 and that was almost direct feel as well,

I am collecting 3gx where ever I seem them for cheap from folks who ditched them for the more complex FBL unit out there.

mikado need to relax the CPU in the Vbar so it can feel almost
or direct.

I'm flying ten of them at present, have a couple more in the box waiting for something to put them in.

Easy to install, easy to set up, easy to get flying, and flying well. I have them in a couple of 250s, a 450 Pro V2, a 500DFC, a 550, Logo 550SX, a couple of 600Ns, Gaui NX4, and a 700N.

All perform well.

There really isn't a whole lot you can adjust from the transmitter (roll and flip rates are easily done), nor is there much actually needed to tweak.

The two gain pots (elevator and aileron) on top generally don't need much adjustment. Occasionally I've had to whip out a PC to adjust the torque precompensation, and the cyclic precompensation.

Version 3.1 software works well, version 4.0 introduced some odd heading hold gyro behavior. I keep hoping for a new SW release to fix the gyro thing, but now that Align has announced the 4GX, GPro, I'm hoping they're not abandoning the 3GX.

Other than that, I just go fly and enjoy them.

Thank for the head up man 3gx don't feel like it need tweaking
it already fast, I never fly with so much fast smack with my
gaui x3 until install the 3gx on it, I love the direct feel
I always wanted the Vbar to feel that way.

I know the 2 pot on it was some kind of roll pitch gain.
that gyro let me fly flawlessly I have 3 of them now and a
few Vbar and the 7200BX that's is good as well, once you can
get the vibration off the heli you should have no problem.

I use the spectrum mounting pad thick solid foam
The beastX don't work with some modern servo so that suck.

hey thank again for the head up I was always thinking there
might be more to the gyro which I don't really needs just wanted to know since i just started to use them after holding out thinking they're not good like folks is saying.

only one
disappointment if you want to change the servo trow range you
have to reprogram the gyro it can't be done from the TX, I like to keep them inside the frame.
