Has anyone else had the plastic tail control fork break on their X50B in flight?
Mine broke today in mid-flip and the bird piroed in at 1900 rpm h/s and
landed on its side.
Just in case, I'm moving to the metal tail fork.
A side note, I discovered just how tough this bird is in a crash.
2 servos, tail boom, and the broken fork. Nothing else. Not even a scratch on the canopy. Tough bird.

It's common to break, especially if the tail blades have touched the ground while running.

Thanks everyone. Just what I needed to know. I don't remember touching the ground with the tiller, but I guess I must have.
Thanks Thumb for the part numbers. I have them ordered.
Do you know where I can still find the PV1411 metal tail unit for the X50B? That looks very nice. The plastic is perfectly functional, but the aluminum just looks so much nicer.

Seems like the TT tailcase is out of stock "everywhere".

An alternative would be the QuickUK one, at a higher purchase price though...

My R50's got the complete Quick alloy tail, except the two TT parts posted above.

Looks really good also.
