I have a Mongoose standard length, with Zenoah 270 with recent big bore kit and approx. 2 tanks run through it since. went down due to an unexpected tail malfunction, so it has been completely rebuilt (by airstar). this unfortunate incident gave me the opportunity to replace, change color and upgrade side frames and motor plate to recent versions among other components. has new version onboard gen. GY611 gyro, futaba gov. roto-tech 810 main blades. so you are getting a new heli. since the makeover, I have flown it once, parked it, then parted with the swash servos to help a friend/newbie to a gasser get his first airstar mongoose in the air. but recent events, well basically I don't have time to fly and I just sold him the servos so he wouldn't have to take his new bird apart. so all this heli will need is the four swash servos and you have a BNF heli. would like to sell it fast, but not giving it away either. pm me if you are interested in making an offer. I'll put pic's up later today. or pm an email and I'll send them. I also have spare set of OEM Blades 850mm and a container of new parts and tail blades, feather shafts, blade grips etc.

Save both our time

Most of you people know what an ASI Mongoose is, and have probably seen a video online of how they fly. so if you are familiar with this Helicopter. please don't waste my time PM'ing me with ridiculous offers like 500.00. I will not respond to posts or pm's if your offer in not reasonable. If you are unsure of what is a reasonable offer, Google the heli and see what they are selling for. go to there website and see what used ones are listed at. < FYI > I have bought the parts needed (four new swash servos) to get it up and running. so now this mongoose is turn key and brand new with up to date 2014 chassis components. Also I have extra used chassis frame from and early version, complete rotorhead assembly as well many new spare parts (easily worth about 700) plus some used spare parts. Below is a pm response to an interested individual that seemed not to familiar with the ASI MONGOOSE
I'm posting for those that are also not familiar, as to save some time communicating back and forth. if you are interested. please pm me your email and I'll send photo's
If you are familiar with this site, then you should know that the ASI mongoose is one of the best to have for several reasons. some of which you'll need to experience when you fly it first hand. But
mainly because they are very well built, with no expense spared in design and materials. also because they are completely built here is the {U S A}. they fly very stable, they are reliable and parts are readily available. and the manufacturer continues to make improvements or new designs and features. the size is approx. 90 scale I guess or slightly larger. I never really understood the scale sizing deal with heli's or planes, but the blades over all diameter is approx. 6 feet. weighs about 14lbs, and because most of all the parts ( about 85-90%) are Aluminum. it is very durable. I know, because I will admit when learning on my first mongoose, Gravity is a bitch.. you can't go wrong owning one of these. I wouldn't sell mine if I didn't need to. But at times, we need to make certain sacrifices, and the heli, goes first. actually as I write this, I am working on it. and since I haven't sold it, I plan to get the servos today
.
if you are still unsure on whether you should buy a mongoose, or sell something to get the money together. just google ASI Mongoose and watch the video's.
as I mentioned, I may be interested in a partial trade for Cash and a Quad-copter. but the quad-copter must be worth at least 1500-2000 (nothing from hobby king). I may be up for other trades for non related RC Aircrafts.
example: off-road motorcycles (dual sport bikes only), quality solar or wind stuff,(not harbor freight systems or Chinese stuff),fire arms, generators (Honda), welders (miller, Lincoln), plasma (hypertherm), tubing bender dies (JD2 Model 53)

These are great helicopters. Brand new they are around $3,500, depending on how you equip them.

These helicopters are rock solid in a hover, fly about 75 mph and can fly for about 35 minutes on one tank of gas.

2500 gets everything. extra landing gears plastic and aluminum, spare frames and engine plate, swash and rotor head, tail blades new, lots of little parts, replacement tail and rotor head bearings. could build a whole other chassis of the older version. which is still a great flying heli. I'm just the type that has to have the newest stuff. still interested in offering a partial trade and cash. interested in a good scope for my rifle. but must be a good one. not barska, or Simmons. not something I can go get at the local walmart or big 5. looking for a Leopold or similar with a power of at least 16-24 zoom.
I have it listed elsewhere here on runryder, but I am also selling a cnc sherline mill. complete system with a 4th axis

Price Reduction

OK folks. this is it. I'm willing to take less. $2000 or best offer gets everything. if you are seriously considering owning one, then you would be a fool if you didn't take this Mongoose. as mentioned before. it is all new, updated chassis. lots of extra parts, side frames etc.
on board dual output generator, 611 futaba gyro with new tail servo.
this will be my final offer.

LAST CALL

As much as i hate to say it. as many of you know. we set a price and want to stick with it. but at times we don't have a choice.
I am willing to let it all go for less, not stupid less, but i must sell it. not because i have to, but because i want something else, and need to justify the expense, which I'm sure most of you here can relate.
let me know your offer, and i will consider it.
