I need some help with wiring theese two together. I plan on using them with a separate spektrum receiver for data logging purposes. I'm using dx7 dsm2.

Tail servo plugs into the arizona and its red wire plugs into rudder port of the gt5, right? The gain wire from the arizona serves in this case only as a secondary power lead so I can plug it in any free port. Since none of the ports on the gt5 is free, that only leaves the receiver to plug it into. If I do this the arizona will power the gt5 trough the red wire and the receiver trough the gain wire. Will this be a problem? The gt5's manual doesn't say if you can power it trough the servo port. It does however say it can be powered trough the throttle channel on the gt5. I assume the positive and negative pins are on a bus anyway so it should work. I'd just like to be sure.

No. Both leads from the Arizona are at the same voltage, adjustable and set at the regulator. The tail servo gets power from the Arizona thru its connection and is at 5.0 volts. The tail signal and gain signal just pass thru the Arizona.
