I wonder…how long will be before this "Miniature Aircraft" thread is removed?Or will go into the "antique or Out of business" thread?

probably never...given the quantity of individuals in possesion of MA products as a whole and the Whiplash in general.

look at the ELY-Q thread...the last post was middle of last year...and they have 82 total posts in that thread...

I would consider that one dead....well more like PETRIFIED.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Kyosho, Robbe and Hirobo are some brands that are not only dead but have been dead for YEARS.

QuickWorldWide died off (in more then one way)last year.

Bergen and JR are more or less dead.

They are all still listed. IF mark was going to move MA he should move them as well.

Rudy,
I think you mean Kyosho helicopters has been dead for years... They still manufacture all other types of goodies including a few planes & RC Cars.
Hirobo is still "breathing"...

But we get the point.

Ok... I was wondering due to that question asked in the "antique or Out of business" thread.

Nope - Synergy is taking it to the next level - and they are an American company now.

Don't forget Avant, CY, and Blade, too.

Perhaps we need to distinguish between companies based in the US and make the majority of their parts in the US (MA, ASI, Bergen, etc.) and those based in the US but use foreign manufacturing (Blade, etc.).
