They do not have the step down at either end for the thrust bearings. Are there new thrust bearings out there?

Edit: There are new thrust bearings out there, PV1444.

Thanks Payne1967 for pointing that out.

I don't think anyone makes a 7mm. thrust bearing.
Edit: That will fit the Grips.

7mm.

PV1444 is at Tower, but no picture or information.

Edit: Just found this. The price is much lower than before.

Maybe to fix the grip wiggle? I think now you would put the thrust bearing between the grip bearings, including the thrust washer of course.

All the R30-50V2, E550-620V1 and X50 use a 12mm OD. thrust bearing, how is it going to fit into those grips?

New grips maybe? If memory serves, Tower was showing 2 spindles (1 got DC'd), 2 thrust bearing sets, and 2 grip sets. There are no good pictures or descriptions of any of the new items at Tower. Who knows?

The X50 dose use a 13mm. OD thrust bearing. I got mixed up be cause I converted my X50E so I could use a 6mm. shaft in it for softer dampers.

Ok, so what i'm hearing is, the next spindle I purchase will also require the purchase of new grips and new thrust bearings?

If this is the case, I'm not happy about that. I'm currently using the TT FBL head with metal grips, and don't care to replace them if they arent damaged.

New shaft and new thrust bearings. Grips should be the same. Thrust bearings are like 9 bucks.

I have an X50B (flybar) and an e620 with the FBL head. Spindles and bearings are (were?) common between the two (99% sure).

My mistake, I got the 13mm. OD. from the thrust washer above that thrust bearing in the X50 manual.

Thanks for the info guys.

Is it confirmed that the thrust will now reside between the radials or at the end like it is currently?
