Need help. Recently purchased the 3sx and setting it up with a DX8 tx and 2 DSMX sat rcv'r. I am able to bind the system but as soon as I get to the diagnose setting I lose the bind and the elevator on the screen will not move. The only way I can get the elevator to move is by moving the aileron stick on the tx. I have the swash set at 1 servo and no mixing in the tx. Tried different unused models in the tx The monitor on tx shows all is functioning properly. The cable between the 3sx and computer looks ok (new) and plugged in properly. I also notice that the elevator will not move when moving the collective stick. There is something I missed. Any suggestions will be appreciated. No servos connected to the 3sx yet.

Hi Herbert,

that is not losing bind, that's losing the signal coming out of the transmitter. If you wiggle the stick and something hapens the system is bound, but obviously not working properly.

Let me ask a few questions:

--Are these New, never used before satelites?
--Where these satellites working ok previously?
--Do you have other sats you can try?
--Are you positive you selected 1 SERVO NORMAL for swash type on your transmitter before the binding?

If so, try plugging the swash servos.

We are assuming the transmitter was working fine with other receivers prior to this issue.
I also notice that the elevator will not move when moving the collective stick
IT BETTER NOT! If you command collective only the collective bar should move on the DIAGNOSTIC dial. You said you had no servos plugged in, right?

After pluging the servos, you will set the correct swash type on the MIXER page of the 3SX software, and correct their direction.

Its simple

You're using JR. Demon default is probably setup for Futaba.

Go to the RC page and change the channel assignments.

Aileron should be 2 NOT 1
Elevator should be 3 NOT 2

Write it to the demon once the changes are done.

There may be other things that are wrong with your setup, but lets start here and see how many issues this solves and what is left afterwards to deal with (divide and conquer).
