Another weather system overlapping the previous.. guess I'll be staring at my new Goblin 700 for awhile longer.. so it's either binge watch Netflix or further reveal my age:

A fella named Joe Howard, wonderfully kind and informative to talk to, turned me into a big fan of scale. At the time he was my source for MJ2 helicopter kits.., Vario and so on. Since then I've enjoyed the idea of delving deeper.. but alas, only the "idea". <saving up for my later retirement years I guess>

I'm wondering, with actual interest.. not just stark boredom, what the future "vintage" helicopters will be?

I know it's a topic probably more geared to the Germans & western European modelers as is evident by the links below.., But I'm hoping others have some curiosity.........

30 + years from now.. What will be the favored relics of RC?

My picks.... Minicopter Maxi Joker 1 or 2. The Mikado Logo 10 or 20(already nearing relic status), Align's first 450.

Maybe the question of which model in any lineup of brands makes the cut?

Thought of this while sifting through these links:

Or some homemade RC relic like this:

I like my homemade design better.. lower parts count.

I hate to burst your bubble...
but I'm not sure yours will fly very well.
You might consider a tail rotor for starters...
nevermind it's probably a NOTAR design I haven't seen yet.

Surely some of the Logos will be classics - IMO.
I'm not sure there are enough MA helis around to make the cut, but they are an interesting possibility.

I think the upper end German helis...TDR, Diabolo, Banshee are probably already classics.

That's all I have for now.
