I find it really hard to get excited about global warming chants, when it is so cold that it is setting coldest temps ever. And when a ship is stuck in the ice so thick that icebreakers can't get to it, and then they get stuck.

It was August 1st when I felt an ungodly chill in the air, about a month after the Fukashima earthquake and Nuke plant melt down. This all somehow seems attributable to Mount Fujiyama and increased earthquake activity in the general area.

The day the Fu nuke plant collapsed, 3 out of six reactors 1 other active at the time, they experienced snowfall. What is it about nuclear fallout that makes it snow rather than bake, shadowing of the sun with fallout, what?

try this article, fallout doesn't have to be war related now,

http://www.nucleardarkness.org/warc...lclimatechange/

but also remember the asteroids of Russia a year and some ago. Sometimes dust in the Stratosphere can take up to ten years to settle to the earth's surface, but the dust will obscure sunlight from reaching the earth = COLD COLD , this is a much more likely explanation for the unusual seasonal low in temps, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I'd still fly nitro, it's really amazing to go to a local park with narry a soul to be seen.

Heyo, been spending the past two weeks almost all indoors rebuilding a 550 shuttle, if it weren't for the chilly weather it might not have progressed to about 98 percent done. Am excited about getting aerial winter scenes with a gopro on it,

take care out there.

If y'all had 20 degree weather y'all would probly be in shorts and flip flops!

Remember to keep everything balanced!

-10 here this morning, but it's going to get up to 2 this afternoon.
The guys farther north might not get up to -10.

Good day to sit around the fireplace, and work on a heli.

This afternoon I'm thinking a nice bottle of Cab. might go well with the fire!
This weather just doesn't bother me since I retired.

First of all, I'm not sure what your understanding of global warming is, but there is no global warming concept out there (the fear mongering one included) that is supposed to get you excited.

Second, can you give me a link pointing to any data that exemplifies an instance of the "coldest temps ever" in global historical records?

Any explanation for what could possibly possess someone to say such nonsense entirely escapes me. Sorry.

Old Hippie is right. Al Gore invented Global Warming AND the internet. By the way, did the Global Warming scientists get their boat out of the pack ice yet?

Here in upper Illinois, it was -17 degrees with -47 wind chill. The high is forecasted for -12. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel...this weekend is forecasted for 30-35 degrees! A 40-50 degree increase, time to breakout the flip-flops, tee-shirts, and shorts!

North Texas - I flew last Thursday quite a bit in the 50's and some wind, but since then COLD and WINDY. It was 13 when I got up this morning. Usually in winter here we have a lot of good days, not so cold and not so windy to fly, but THIS winter has been arctic a lot.

I finished up my new X3 and got in short first hovers Saturday in cold in the backyard with my fingers freezing. Now my only project, unfortunately, is to figure out how to get the smallish canopy on. While I look outside at a pretty sunny day with a HIGH of 32

correction wayne>>>bill gates came up with the internet and lives 30 miles north of here on lake wash
Bill gates had no more to do with inventing the internet than Al Gore, in fact, it was invented before Gates was even born.
Actually, the internet did not exist before a man named Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web while working at CERN in
Geneva, Switzerland in 1989. His original abstract is pictured below. The internet is the content of web servers connected by and through the web.

BTW, I flew 7 flights (4 with Logo 600 + 3 with Flamewheel 550) on Saturday here in North Florida. It was between 35° and 47° F. Still cold, but not cold enough to not fly. No one else in my club showed up until the afternoon when the weather warmed a bit. It was great. Had the whole field to myself for most of the day.

I'm supposed to fly tomorrow just to demonstrate the aerial photography capabilities of my Flamewheel and camera rig to a prospective client. However, it is going to be between the high teens and low twenties tomorrow morning. May be too cold for LiPo batteries and the pilot! Keep in mind we don't have the typical cold weather gear here in Florida. No warm gloves or mittens for sure. Even in North Florida we get about 1.5 to 2 months where it's just too cold to want to fly.

I'm not sure exactly how to take your post. I think I do have a concept of what global warming is, and my reference to getting excited was merely a jab at all the stuff that one hears and reads.

There is no "NONSENSE" with regards to my talking about the coldest records ever, as that is all that has been on the news for the last two days. Today in our northeast part of the US, it is supposed to set all time records for coldest wind chill temps, ever. That is all the "NONSENSE" I was referring to.

And by the way, I am not SORRY for my post!
