A Powerful Version of 'The Star-Spangled Banner'

It’s just about time for America to welcome in the New Year. And what better welcome is there than a rousing version of the National Anthem?

This video of Marlana VanHoose, who sang the National Anthem before a UK Vs. Ole Miss women’s basketball game in 2012, is one of the more inspiring versions we’ve been able to find.

VanHoose, who was 16 at the time, is blind and was born with Cytomegalovirus. She may have not been able to see the crowd, but they aren’t likely to forget seeing her.

Happy New Year everyone.

I don't have a link but the lead singer of Train did a great job singing it last night at the Cotton Bowl too.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!
