Neither do I, but I do know a lot of guys who use normal as just another idle up with a constant head speed. Of course that is on electrics, it wouldn't work on internal combustion.

You have to read very carefully, to keep up around here sometimes.

Maybe 'cause it's too cold for a lot of us to fly?

Try coupling the cold with a water heater letting go. You wanna talk about cranky - you should meet my wife

I'll bet!

There's never a good time for a water heater to quit.

You got that right, but particularly bad timing for us, as we have friends coming in this weekend for an anniversary party. We finally were able to get the carpets dry, but have the entire house torn up waiting on the cleaners. Even if the weather was good for flying, I'm stuck cleaning up.

Fortunately, we caught the leak before a LOT of damage was done. I sure learned something about house design. All water heaters from now on will go into a utility closet in the garage.

Mine is in the basement with a floor drain next to it...
much less traumatic that way.

It may be time to close this thread since it is way off topic and the issue of post count has been hashed-out many times before. Don't fix what's not broken. I can tell a bunch about a poster based on their post rate and content.

Let's stay on topic here...what does that have to do with post count?
And is that before or after flying, and what flavor?

If it's more than 1/4 inch, it's more than I'm willing to dig.
