Thanks cpt, got the intakes sheeted and doghouse built. Still need to fill in a couple small areas and sand to shape but it is coming along.

One exhaust done along with the Majority of the right side intake sanded to shape. I messed up in a couple spots while sheeting so had to use quite a bit of filler.

Thanks grant, I'll be sure to read both of those. Haven't had a chance to work on the cobra much lately but will get back to it soon.

We had our first baby a couple months ago and haven't had the time to work on anything. I did get the mechs sorted out this weekend and will start making some progress soon.

Wow, this is really cool! I didn't even know anyone made wood kits like this. Definitely watching with interest :-)

It's still a work in progress. I've gotten a few little things accomplished as far as the woodwork but real progress is getting held up by issues with the mechanics. Once those are dialed in I can get them installed in the fuse and get it test flown.

I don't always fly helis, but when I do I prefer to fly scale.

OK so I see you are in the same boat as I am.... I'm building the AH64D from Approach Engineering and am "stuck" at dialing and test flying mechanics at this point.....

Feel free to share pics and build details here, I'm still on the fence about building their apache and would love to see it.
