In2helis,
the only posts your waiting to jump in on are posts where you can lashout at a ten year old century rep and his dad. Your a pretty sick
indivual who should seek profesional help. Why you constantly persist in attacking a young boy is beyond the comprehision of most of us here. As a father myself I say this as sincerly as I can:
You have some fixation on a little boy, you sick bastard!
BACK OFF! and leave him alone.

If someone as a rep is as bad as you say they are, give them enough rope, they will hang themselves by screwing up somewhere along the way, but instead, your attacks are countinous, baseless and cowardly and show you for the jelous freak that you are! I'm not a century rep, I don't even fly century right now, but with all the stupid attacks you are posting, I've decided now I want to try a pred. I hear a lot of good things about it, they hold their value better than any other heli out there right now.
If you don't like something for whatever reason, MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE! I see you are flying hirobo now, Great! Move on! Why do you persist in hanging around the century posts and persistanly throw in your little digs? GROW UP! Get a life, and most importantly, quit attacking little boys, YOU FREAK!

PS, quit sending me pms trying to justify your actions, I'm not interested.

Sorry Phil,
I got side-tracked
I like your line of reasoning on the CF frames, however, didn't the prices just go up on the metal frames? And if so, then the carbon frames ought to be a lot more attractive price wise, at least on a re-build.

Frame prices

CJ,

Initially the frame prices where for one piece - e.g. one left upper side frame. Now they are sold as a pair (in twos). So the prices reflect this.

Yea Skip, I can't wait to see your caliber 90 either. The max is still waiting on YS parts and one clutch bell. Both my wife and I have been going through the flu thing so I havn't been too concerned about it lately. But I do hope I can get things going sometime in January. It seems some of the vendors for my hobby needs are taking a couple of weeks vacation so it's harder to get parts now.

In case your all wondering, I didn't think I needed a new clutch bell at first but realised after getting the new bearing that it wasn't going to fit properly onto my old clutch bell. The new bearing fits way too loosley on to my old clutch bell. Also I could not get the old bearing race off of the clutch bell. It's stuck on there real good. It probably can be removed with some sort of bearing puller though (which I don't have).

Merry Christmas to everyone.

It has been a long time since I logged into RunRyder so sorry about the delay. I have been in Texas on company business and had no time to even think about heli's. My plan is to do whatever is necessary to get the predator back in the air after I get back from Texas. I suppose I will be here another week. Also to answer your question, I am not happy with the assembled bearing they sent me. It was obviously forced on to the clutch bell. There is no notchyness in the bearing just a lot of friction due to the stretch. These bearing were not made to be stretched on to a shaft. Like any bearing there should be reduced friction not added friction. More friction means less horsepower means less bearing life means another bearing failure means I am sick of this $#!+.

I will try to assemble it without the bearing and test it out that way. This should increase the overall horsepower and give me some peace of mind about bearing dust not geting into my engine again. See ya when I get back.
