I'm used to flying 90 size nitros (Avant and Freya). Thinking about trying electric in the same size range. Any thoughts on those two models? How difficult are they to work on and repair? How well do they fly? I would be new to fly-barless heads.

Thanks!

There are lots of very nice 700 fbl e-heli's out there right now so you really cannot go wrong with any of them imho.

If you are thinking 700x vs Goblin 700 and you are new to electrics and fbl, I would say that the 700x kit w/cc 120hv Combo would be a bit simpler and a bit cheaper way to go. The included Spektrum ar7200bx unit is probably one of the simplest fbl units to setup and works very well. Of course you need a Spektrum dsmx or dsm2 compatible Tx to use it though. Lots of flight vid's of the 700x on HF, just do a bit of searching and you'll find them.

Best of luck, whichever way you go and I hope you find you entry into electric's and fbl a lot of fun. As usual, local advice is highly recommended, esp. with a large 700 e-heli.

Xmas cheers,
TomC
