Hey guys,

I'm having trouble setting up a spot light on my extra channel. I have Aux2 open on the 7200 so that's what I've plugged the light into, however, I can't turn the light off by moving the switch. Why? I've tried adjusting the trims and travels in both directions with no luck...

I just want to use this for landing and such at night as all the other lights will be on their own power source. I figure this way I can turn this on and off cause its super bringht.

Any thoughts? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!
Jay

Have you tried plugging a servo into that channel to see if you are controlling it like you think you are? How is the radio setup to control that channel?

No, I haven't tried to plug in anything else...I guess I should try that

Also, the radio has Aux2 set to control Aux2. On the 9503 that is a 3 point switch.

Did you check the servo monitor screen, too?

Out of curiosity, are you plugging this light into a lighting controller of some sort? Or are you just trying to plug an LED straight into the receiver? Because if so, it doesn't work that way.

You can also make a switch from an old servo (brushed motor) by replacing motor with lights.
