So, I forgot to solder the two wires on the HobbyWing Phase Sensor to two wires on my speed control when I was soldering on the female bullets. Seeing as how the wires on my ESC are pretty big compared to the two wires on the phase sensor, is there any harm in just removing the heat shrink and soldering phase sensor wires to the outside of the bullet connector?

I'm not interested in trying to peel back a portion of insulaltion on the ESC wires and since they're so small, I could use a lower wattage soldering iron so my ESC wires won't be moved in the female bullet connector causing a bad connection.

I've done the same with eagle tree logger stuff with no ill effects. Just be careful of the existing solder joint.

I've done it a number of times. Works great.

When I forget, or am being lazy, I just shove the wires in the bullets and call her good.
