I do not have a Raptor X50, but I think the entire main gear should be on the pinion. Maybe a shim in the right place can get it where it needs to be.

Did the pinion move on the motor? Was the heli taken apart for any reason? How and when did you notice the problem?

I shimed mine between the two gears, moved it up in place better, works great.

it's a nitro. even with the spacer it is still low. I put the spacers in to fix the slop in the main gear. even with the slop out im still low on the pinion.

the heli has about 20 flights on it. I don't know if it was allways like that or not.

thanks for the help so far guys

I have two of the spacers, Joe. Both are between the main gear and tail drive gear.

Not sure why it would be misaligned with two spacers unless for some reason, your pinion has moved upward a small bit....
