The TDR skids are different.Personally, I like the low profile ones better than the original. I've actually cut 25mm off of mine.
My buddy bought one with low profile skids... https://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t751165p1/
I really like the look.
I'm thinking of cutting mine down or making new plates from a CF sheet,

JRAY
did you just cut 25mm off or did you angle the cut?

Haha. That'd be fun.

Hippie, I trimmed 25mm off the bottom of the struts, matching the factory angle. I was going to trim more and up the angle so the tail sits higher, until I got the SFR2 fuse.

$550, plus the mounts, or make your own. I like the overall shape of it better than the other options out there. It is a very nice fuse!

Yeah, I like the Uvular shape, but I hear it's also heavy. It all your own taste though, that's all that matters.

Nice on the S! Let us know how it is! I'm on the list for the new Henseleit speed machine, so I've been debating getting the S OR waiting, or getting the S AND waiting. lol

My debate has concluded.. Paid for my S just now.. Will be white with black bottom!! Woo!
I thought that's what you were building was a TDR speed machine.

Congrats on the S! That's awesome!

Yes, I am, but from my understanding, the new Henseleit is not a TDR. It's a dedicated speed machine.

That's awesome!! I bet it's BA.. I've seen pics.. It looks similar to the Diabolo S. Never in a million years would I have guessed I would pay 2500 for a toy.. Lol.. Especially one that needs another 2,000 in electronics .. Lol.. I can't wait!

That's not the new Henseleit. No pics of it yet, it will be unveiled in March, I think.

Make sure you post up pics! I bet it will be awesome! Did I read that the S comes assembled, like the Banshee?

Omg! That's crazy.. Lol.. I think I'll start with 12 and work up to 14.. I think you can squeeze the same speed out of 12, setup properly that is. And thanks! Now it's just the wait. But it's an awesome feeling knowing your heli is being custom assembled in Germany : )
