Hello ..... I'm thinking of running a Goblin 700 airframe with 623mm on 6S with a KDE 600XF 1100kv motor.

What are the Pro's and Con's

What exactly are you trying to achieve here...longer flight times? What is your flying style?

I'm trying back up my Goblin 700 with a another Goblin 700 but with 630mm blades and I thought about going 6S so I could:

1 - share packs with the other Goblin 700 6S 5000mah packs
2 - get 2 instead of 1 flights when running 6S
3 - get more practice in

since I have the KDE 600XF-1100kv motor already. If I have an incident, I could just swap some parts and have a Goblin 700 and keep my routine going.

My flying style:
I like low HS
I fly my Goblin 500 @ 2200 HS
No smack 3D
Traveling piro figure 8 circuits both directions & chaos piroflips
Big air
most aggressive I probably 12pt Tic Tocs skids in & skids out

On 6S if you dont change any thing else you will get about 1150rpm on a full pack and 1050 towards the end of the pack, it flies great like that with 690 Blades (i fly MsComposit Rapids which are very wide cord) and i think It would be a high disk loaded dog on 630s.
If you already have the Goblin try 6S first and then decide if you want to decrease your disk area

Doh I didn't read your post properly and didn't see you wanted to go to a high Kv motor.. So I guess it's worth an experiment.

I know on the Furion 6 when MA made a 6s conversion for it they gave it a shorter belt and boom, it flew fine on 6s. I bet that the 700 end up being a bit tail heavy if you only have one pack in it. Also what about gearing? Will you be able to spin the tail fast enough with the low head speed? There's no question that it will fly, look at the 770 with ultra low head speeds.
