The opposing views are always amazing. I take the notion of removing the canopy pretty lightly. I care for them so they stay looking nice. My 7HV has been flown for three seasons now and my original two canopies still look new. Always used RCBooyas and the front just slips on. I agree that TT with the e720 system has the kickass pack swap. Coolest setup I've seen. I've been happy with my 7HV tray though too. The pin's pretty easy.

Canopy removal
Yea...but when you struggle to find time to fly...and E-helis fly for around 6 mins. Canopy removal and complex lipo retaining system jus steal time.

Not to mention windy days that chase the planks away...will throw your pretty canopy in the gravel.

That was my first chip...Wind blew the canopy away.

I literally never use the word literally right.

I don't think it's been mentioned that half the time I see guys flying a big electric, they don't even bother putting the canopy on! Well, I need the canopy myself to see the thing.

I've just gotten so used to canopy off-on it doesn't bother me. This just goes with the territory of an electric, and I'm fairly new to them, less than a year now.

I put Quick UK quick release push button thingies on the 550e, and magnetic post thingies on the 700e. Love it. On the 700, I found I didn't even need the 2 rear magnetic catches. Very easy on/off.

Hmmmm...nobody at our field flys without a canopy, and we're exclusively electric, well - one guy has one lonely nitro left.
