I have a good used Align .91 H engine that I had rebuilt to use as a backup engine. I am mainly all electric now so I have no need for this engine anymore.

This motor has a new front and rear main bearing, new piston, and new ring. This engine has not been run since the rebuild and would need to be broken in with the new ring.

The story on this engine is:
This engine came with my Align T-Rex 700LE kit. After some time the engine started running weird and would not hold mixture settings. After some research, I found that the carb was the problem. There is a retaining screw in the carb housing that screws into a slot in the carb barrel. This holds the barrel in and allows the barrel to rotate from closed to full open throttle position. If this is not kept greased excessive wear can develop in this slot and then the barrel can move from side to side causing misalignment in the carburetor cat eye/jets which make the engine not stay tuned with the needles.

Long story short I tried a few different older carbs I had and while changing out these carbs with the engine in the heli I accidently let a small piece of the phenolic gasket or ring that goes in between the engine case and the carb housing fall into the engine. This little piece of hard composite material found its way to the top of the piston and caused some pitting to the head and top of the piston. At the time of this I could not find a new or used piston so I purchased a new O.S. 91HZ-R engine and installed this in my T-Rex. Later on when I acquired the parts I rebuilt this engine for use as a backup. Like I mentioned before it has a new piston and ring as well as a new front and rear main bearing. I bought a used carburetor and an O.S. head from a friend at the field and then rebuilt it and put it in a box in the closet of my workshop.

This engine retails for $399.99

I am asking for $175.00 shipped CONUS. PM me if you are interested. Thanks.

Also note: You can see from the pictures that I filed the engine mounts down slightly because I had an adjustable clutch block and the motor mounts were adjustable as well. In order for the engine to be adjusted to tighten the gear mesh I filed the engine mounts slightly so they would slide inside the frames easier.
