As anybody try a APM on a gasser? a set-up like this with GPS

I just got a email from 3D Robotics. they sell the APM, they said that the APM was designed for electric motors and the vibrations of a gasser might be too much for the APM to work right, so they do not offer any support if used on a gasser,

But I still would like to try it, I think we could work around the vibration problems of are gasser,

I think just do not what to take the chance of a crash with a APM on a gasser.
