Two way links? Do you mean turnbuckles that you can adjust without popping a link off the ball?

No, I believe he means plastic ball links that can be snapped on with either side out, so you can make half turn adjustments instead of only full turn adjustments.

Although, your suggestion is quite good, since they are infinitely adjustable.
