Nitro will burn I burnt up a trex600 from a nitro fire a couple of years ago was doing piros and slung the receiver battery out and could not cut of engine melted the fuel line and caught fire and almost burnt up the flying field so don't tell me nitro does not burn. It burns so clean makes it hard to see the flames.

I never said they can't burn...I actually admitted the opposite.

It is so extremely rare it can't be compared to lipo fires though.

Your fire is only the second nitro fire I've ever heard of...and I think it was the first too.lol...

If memory serves, the first fire I ever heard of was the one you're talking about so yeah...still the only one I know of.

What I hate about nitros is they make me want to fly my electrics more. Oh, wait... My only remaining nitro heli has sat on a shelf unflown for at least five years.

Lol, great thread Ernie! Love the kickstand. Why in earth didn't I ever think of that? I am balancing my Gob 813 even now as I write this! Time to ErnieIze my kickstand and get this in gear. I just toasted some lipos last month in a crash with my 600. Flame on! Funny thing though, I wadded some up in a couple earlier crashes and straightened them out. Been flying all summer with those and they are still ticking. And my brand new set go up the first pop?

I had a gallon of nitro fuel sitting on my living room floor last night. Glad that and the un flown Nitro 600 are gone now. Having anything with actual fuel in it sitting in my house gives me the creeps.

And yeah, I now store all my 12s lipos under my pillow at night to keep them warm since the snow hit just this am. There seemed to be too much controversy about storing them in the fridge. So now my Temperpedic keeps them cushy, comfy and safe. Whatdaya think?

Do gassers sit properly at the table? I figure they do but just thought I'd ask.
