Marksmanship begin with a scope they think they're the
World best just take that off the rifle and watch
There bullet saying goodbye target.
I dont use a scope and I can hit a 1/2 wide stick at 80 ft.
With a Rugar pistol.

Not hard for anyone to do, just steady hands and pactice.

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

I'll take a dozen tickets.

I'll bring the family.

We can have a barbeque.

Nah, he'll accuse us of being racist again.

Anyway, I'll bring some steaks and a few brewskis.

My buddy has one of the remi700s. Not sure what variation. Amazingly accurate. A lazer, except with PUNCH.

I have the bug for a proper precision rifle. Maybe this spring...

Update on the back order situation with midwayUSA...

Reportedly if you order a case of 10 Boxes they are routinely getting a case, splitting it up and billing you for multiple shipments at 18$ a pop. I kept my bucket on the back order list because they will have a dificult time splitting it up, but canceled the rest. Hope none of you get stung.

Have myself plenty of 22LR ammo. I used to stop in my local gun shop on the way home from work every Friday. If he didn't have anything I was interested in, I would buy a brick or 2 of 22. Now days I find myself on the hunt for rifle and pistol powder. Stocked up on primers when SHTF a year ago, but didn't think powder was going to be an issue.

bullets at Walmart
I've had pretty good luck at Walmart lately. I recently bought 3 boxes of 22 (425rnds to the box I think) and 3 boxes (150 rnds) of 5.56 green tip another time. Also bought 500 rnds 45ACP in one purchase too.

I finally managed to score a 1000 round box of Winchesters from Cabelas.

It has been over a year, and 22's still have not recovered.

Well I've moved on to bigger and better things. Picked up a Russian VEPR rifle in 7.62x54R with a 23" barrel. Basically a 30-06 AK-47. 7.62x 54r ammo is 200 bucks for 880 rounds delivered. It looks like a civilian version of a Dragunov sniper rifle but has a thumb hole stock to get by import restrictions. I will put the right furniture on it very soon.

Back on subject, the last 22 purchase was at Walmart. CCI mini-mag in a 100 rnd case for roughly 9 bucks.

I was looking at an saiga AK 74 a short time ago. (Little brother of the 47) That Russian spam can stuff is a very attractive deal, looks perfect for storage or plinking.

I don't think i will let myself be caught with just a couple little boxes again. The past year has been quite an eye opener.

I've got at last count over 6000 rounds of .22LR, 3000 rounds of 9MM and almost 1000 rounds of 45 ACP. Still working on my 5.56 stuff. Got 600 rounds and still looking.

I'm looking at a Yugo M70 O-PAP AK right now. $599.00

I had a few bricks under the tree for me this morning. Also 4 Folliage green 30rd Pmags, with 1000rds of american eagle 5.56. I must have been very good this year, or at least good at it!

Anyone can do that but can you do it consistently shot after shot?

I can hit a 12" plate at 100 yards with a Beretta 92, 15 times in a row 3 magazines in a row, I get bored after more then 3 mags.

Site picture and trigger control.

I'm also an instructor.

Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.

If you purchase Russian spam can ammo be sure and clean your weapon as soon as you get home, that stuff is very corrosive.
