Hey Rick so today I worked on installing the mechanics to the fuse and worked out great just needed alittle work on the tail being I hadn't cut out the opening for the tail rotor. But with my scale blades and head button she coming along good. Now I need to find a tail bell crank or a left side tail rotor, because when I flew it, before I had the tail push rod on top for the left side TR. And I'm going to get it to paint on Thursday as lone as I can get my lettering done before then so when paint is laid before the clear is spreyed I can apply all my vinyl.

Hey Edward it's looking real nice can't wait to see it with the paint job, I think Roy used a piece of aluminum for his tail he made it up, I'm using the stock 600 trex one but once everything is in if I don't like the way it looks I may change it the last thing I need is the link to come off.. Edward, Rich,
What rotor head and blades did you end up going with. Are you pleased with flight performance ? did you already test fly in Pod and Boom ?

hi guys!

Edward, it is looking great!

there's going to be some sweet 407s around very soon.

I used a piece of aluminum for the tail bellcrank and it works fine.

Stewart, to add to your quesiton on the rotorhead and blades;
I am using the Century multi blade head and rotortech 660 blades. My heli does not have a stabilization unit on it and it hovers smooth and very much like a flybar heli. and mind you I set it up and not Emile, so he has taught me well

I am going to start using stab systems soon and I am sure from what everyone says I will enjoy flying with them.

Hey Scott to anwser ur question I'm useing the plug and play head from RCA but I sand blasted off the black anodized because I wanted the aluminum look, the blades r the scale blades from rotortech. These r the 600mm thin core blades, I flew these blades with extra weigh to simulate with the fuse and it flew beauitful. My fuse weight is 11.9 lb with mechanic and batteries and when it was pod and boom I had I weighed down at just shy of 11 lb so on my system being CC 80HV running it on 8s with2. 5000 4s packs in govern mode I'm spinning 1500 hs and giving me a 9 1/2 flight and leaving my cell down to 3.8-3.82 per cell.Roy can you show me a pic of ur home made bell crank so I can make one for myself I need two left hand bell crank 1 for the 407 and my other build EC145

Hey scot I'm using Century DIAMOND 4-BLADE 30-50 SIZE ROTOR HEAD SYSTEM with the helicommand Bavarian also using 660 funkey blades . Heli was flown with 2 bladed system flew real nice just have to reprogram to 4 blades, I airbrush the rotor head grips dove grey to match the full size Heli. Also I put mechanics in fuse just to fit everything and did a bench run up to make sure nothing would fly off and to check clearance,so far so good. I still have a ways to go .. Rich

UIH,

I will "see" you case of sam and raise you one.

206 asked me to strip and balance the blades so these are spoken for. I need to add the leading edge strip and balance them and they are done.

If you have blades I would be happy to put a finish on them for you.

Butch
