I'm using 200mA of my RX pack and 3250mA from my flight packs on a 7 minute flight.

My RX pack is a 2500mA 2S Thor 20C.
My flight packs are 5000mA 6S Turnigy 20C.

My head speed is 2120.
My gearing is 9.9:1
My motor is a 4400-6600W Align 700MX
My ESC is an OS1100HV with governor gain at 50%

JR 8717 cyclic
Savox 2272 HV BLS tail
Scott Gray RX2 on 6V
BeastX

This thing is freaking me out...I was expecting much much less flight time.

I am running the same servos, but on straight 2s lipo in a 550. Also running the beastx. I average around 300-350 mah per flight (5 mins). 200 mah in a 700 for 7 mins sounds pretty great to me, especially running the power hungry 8717s.

7 mins on a 700 is really good. How many mah are you putting back into your flight packs? My e7 runs 2200 rpms and I get 5 mins with 2 6s 5300mah packs using the Align 750mx. That leaves my packs right around 25% after a flight. I am also running 8717s in this heli (w/bls256) but I don't fly it as often and haven't kept track of the mah per flight in my RX packs for that heli.

You're consuming approximately 65% of your flight pack at 7 minutes. mAh consumption is based on many factors and others here can chime in as they are much more knowledgeable. That said, the more aggressive you are on the sticks and the more you beat on it the greater the consumption.

If you own it Ernie, it has to be a freak! Lol, but seriously, you are getting awesome time with that bird, I don't see guys getting that kind of time with their 700 sized heli's. That would be too long for me, I don't think I could hold it together that long with that kind of power!

Funny that you say that because I've noticed that I fly it exactly like my nitros.
Throttle stays between 25% and 75%

Always babying it.

I'm not aggressive at all.
Boring crap like this is normal for me...
