What customer service are you talking about. Align does not have any customer service, And if you think that I am wrong just sit here and see if any one from Align gets on here and calls me out on what I am saying. Please don't hold your breath I would hate to have to call the paramedics to revive you.
LOL I hope you are not serious. Not only there is customer service but Tim is a great guy. All you need is a proof of purchase and call. Also saying it caused a crash is not PROOF.

go to the other heli site and you will find out just what is going on with the 150
I was set on ordering a 150 as soon as the initial rush was over, but now I'm just going to fix my POS 130X one more time and fly it in the garage this winter...

I'll wait for V2 or V3 on the 150

I bought a real nice TRex 450, with lots of extra parts, for my outdoor sim.

By then there maybe a 130X V2 to further complicate things!!!!

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

I second that!

Tim took care of a pitch slider that was bad out of the box. Got the new good part the same week.

I am glad to hear that they are addressing these issues. I have talked with Tim myself at times on other issues. I wonder if anyone has informed him of the issues that are showing up with this bird?

Come on Align step up and give those people who are beta testing your new 150dfc replacement parts that fails not due to crashing. Some parts fail and cause crashes. Look at all the forums and you can see you have plastic issue on this bird.
Once you get all the plastic material upgraded your going to have a Great little Helicopter!! I can't wait.

The software companies offer free fix to those who are using there products that are helping in the development stage.

I would think as of now you are looking at this very closely to see all the failures or issue with this new Heli.

I am sure if those with problems follow the proper procedure for a return, they will be taken care of. IMO, Mr. Fassbinder should not be expected to come on RR to handle issues.

I called align and talked to Tim about my swash cracking. He requested a pic. I sent him a few and he replied that as soon as they come back in stock he would send me one. That is my first time calling for a replacement part. But as long as they do as they said, I will be happy with there customer service.

Maybe not, but nobody is aking him to handle issues...that I saw.

However, it would be a very good way to learn about customer sentiments towards a new product you are launching...seems that would be of utmost importance to me if I were in his shoes.

I am wondering what percentage of helis are having this issue of all of these plastic parts cracking and breaking?
I have one on order at Heli direct, but am thinking of canceling it and play the wait and see game as to what happens here. We always hear about the complaints and don't get me wrong here there are complaints on this thing, but I am wondering if there wasn't a bad mix of plastic on a certain batch that has caused this.

Companies often implement correcting design flaws based on consumers complaints.

It would behoove many to purchase the 150 once these complaints have been addressed and rectified.

These changes will only occur if Align finds merit in the feedback.

I agree with Aerialskycam.

For example on trex 450L, in less then 2 weeks align fix the issues with using 3rd party servos. They redesigned main bearing blocks. Here is my wish list for Align on trex 150.

1) Metal tail hub. In a major crash the tail hub is very weak point. The motor breaks out the hub, and you have a chance to break the leads from the motor, which are just extended windings.

2) redesign the esc connector from tail motor. Even if you connector comes apart like in the instruction book. Its almost imposable to push the pins tru the boom support area with out unsoldering.

3) reinforce motor mount area, like they did the nose.

4) Need some kind of pin lock on the landing gear. Over time they fall out in mid flight. I have around 150 flights on my bird now. And had landing gear fallout 5 or 6 times. At least it happened while i was upright not while flipping.

5) Metal swash plate. (mostly for me it is bling)

I love this little guy. I like him much better then any other micro guy i flew. I was flying around in 12 mile/hour wind gusts with major issues. Just a little tail wag. I still have not had a good change to nail down the tail gain for each rpm setting. Just a few small changes need to be made to make this guys King of Micro. And i don't think it will cost an arm and leg like they other guys.

150DFC failure

I received my new heli a few weeks ago and opened the box for Christmas. Pulled it out and surprise, one of the swashplate arms was hanging down next to the servo! An email sent to Align Trex Store and a quick response advised to contact Tim at Alignrcusa. He asked for pics and the serial number and a few days later I received the replacement swashplate. I was excited to finally see how this thing flies, so after installing the part went out for the maiden. Got her into a hover with quite a lot of tail wag and bam, something flies off! After hitting the throttle hold and hitting the ground I found that one of the two balls on the inner ring of the swashplate had let go. Well, the damage is done. Bent tail boom, broken blade holder bolt and cracked frame. Wow, 15 seconds and 300 bucks and I have a grounded bird!
Sent another email to both parties and now waiting for a resolution.
I own 35 Helis, been flying over 11 years, but this new Heli has some issues!
