Pretty new to this stuff. Anyone know why a hex would suddenly dip randomly and then correct itself? It is violent enough of a dip to change direction a bit. I've done different gain settings but it still does the same thing. Happens in ATTI and GPS mode.

thanks in advance

One possible guess is that a motor or esc is going out. Is it a random or predictable dip? Is anything touching the sensor box? Vibrations could be causing that. What tape did you use?

I know, lots of questions, but they all can be possible causes.

One motor is hotter than the others when I landed. I have two more coming and will start swapping out motors first then esc next. The dips is very random. Sensor box is in the middle nothing else touching it. I am using 3M decals double sided foam tape.

Balance the Props and try to balance the Hex with Battery Placement .. It does help. One other thing, make sure that your motors are correct for the Prop size you are useing. It is easy to put a big prop on too high a KV rated motor.
