I thought I would share this with the scale folks. One neat video. Watched it on a 72 Led Flat screen and I thought I was in the bird, man I love these machines.

That was amazing animation, super cool! Pretty accurate too, except there should have been a little more shake going on in the cockpit during FF. That low level crank and bank was suicide low! Thanks for sharing.

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!

That was awesome, What sim is that?

I don't always fly helis, but when I do I prefer to fly scale.

Very cool
agree Barry that low banking was way to low. That was one of the coolest start up i have seen. And when those blades start up the huey shakes a lot more then that but very cool.
I too would like to know what sim that was on so I could fly that. Thanks Jay

The sim is UH-1H Huey by Digital Combat Simulator (DCS).

The DCS flight sim products are about the highest fidelity available (they have several different aircraft modules available, including the Kamov Ka-50 coaxial helicopter). The Huey is a blast to fly, once you overcome the relatively steep learning curve. It requires time, patience and a decent flight stick setup, but it's worth the trouble if you've ever wondered what it would be like to fly the real thing.

Google DCS Huey for more info.

Rotorhead. Thanks for the info. I wasn't for sure which sim it was based off.
