plus my friend has my logo 500 that he hasn't even paid for.. so buying another logo that would be pretty much the same seems weird haha

I like the e6 550 because its a smaller bird but not that much smaller, but soo light, and I bet with a 5000 pack it gets awesome flight time

horizon seems to have almost all parts in stock, I don't see why there would be any problems especially with jramericas starting up.. and I wouldn't be buying one for a least another month anyway

Be careful with the JR heli. If you plan on flying the same bird for awhile you may have problems with parts. JR tends to produce a great heli, sell a bunch of them and then phase them out along with the parts.

Do what's RIGHT, not what's EASY ! !

Maybe that is what horizon hobby did but I dont share the same experience. All brands will phase out older models eventually.
And I heard they still supply parts for 5~10year old models...

I think with them putting all the effort into JR americas im sure we will have parts support over here for a while for each heli..

only problem is the futaba adaptors are out of stock so not sure when they will come in

Im not sure why there wasn't another plug for the Blade 550x but don't rule it out. I love mine, and I also own a Goblin. They are both great machines, but you can't beat Horizon Hobby's customer service. The 550x could also be stretched to a 600 with a new torque tube, tail boom, and motor. I have over 30 flights on it with the stock ESC, and more than that with the CC120 ICE that replaced it. I didnt have any failures with the stock one, I just didnt want any so I replaced it. My Goblin is a 700 and flies differently than the 550 because of its presence alone, but the 550x is a little more nimble, and is still lots of fun to fly. I have had zero issues to date with the 550x and I think the fact that you don't see them for sale often speaks for itself.

Thats probably because the 550X is a bigger bird, by that I mean 2" taller than the e6 and 6" longer. It also swings 550mm blades, the e6 swings 510's. The 550X is almost the same size as my Goblin 700. The tail is just shorter but they are almost the same height. Plus the 550X has enough room in the belly to run 2 5000mah batts, so it will run on 12s.. part of its ability to transform into a 600.

You really can't go wrong with any of the choices you have listed.. I was just tossing in a plug for my favorite. Good luck choosing! I want them all!!!

I still say my DT 520 is a better choice then all of them, at a much lower price.

yeah the blade looks pretty good and the dt but I am kinda drawn to different designs and engineering.. the jr design is really cool and the goblin as well.. from what ive heard jr quality is amazing and with all the parts support coming to the states looks pretty good...

also I want to stick with a smaller 550 size so I can throw it in a bag on my bike if I want to

too many choices lol

So many choices.. And I guess the transportation thing is key.. I put them in my truck or if I'm lucky enough in the wife's new durango.. depends on how much I feel like spending on fuel to get there. The bike transports 0 heli's.. lol

haha well my 450L fits and I can fit the e6 on there.. a buddy of mine rides with a guitar.. but I might end up taking my car mostly cause probably pick up a generator also, just like having the option to throw it on my bike and go ride then fly..

I am leaning with the e6 but waiting to hear back from jr when those servos adaptors will be in stock

I didn't know that E6 could only swing 515s, different animal than the 550SX which can swing 560s
You have a TON of choices out there and most are good, research, decide, have fun with it!
