Could have been a Absolute Fatality plus maybe more :Real Time On FIlm

Also on Home Turf : " Muncie " Sure it just tossed the Safety Apple Cart all the way over !!!! - Get ready for hundred's of man hours, policy, procedure -the list will be endless.

THANK GOD no one had to experience the occurrence with consequences or witness the after effect's or the families involved.

That is a occurrence - in which SAFETY could of added enough margin - not to cause a strike to a human -N0 DENI ABILITY:

ALL HUMAN are Fail-able and so are their machines.

Lesson Learned : Hard WAY

Even more Hypocrisy to watch a few feed off it as usual - with a bent or mental defense for it- or a exit or off ramp even a touch of sick humor : Plausibility of Denial for Self Elevation or Pride !

Note : This is THE SECOND real time event caught on Film --- many know of the one that enters the camera len's -It's here on the Forum . Darn Scary -Darn / Darn / Darn ----

The guy that ran out was a nitro guy and didn't want to see the guy on the ground get beat up by a chicken dancing Heli Make it safe first then take care of the guy on the ground.

You are correct! I am the nitro/electric guy that ran out. My son is the boy running away. He was the spotter. He is 7 years old and has been flying 3 years. He performed his demo 10 minutes after this happened.

Now, if you look at my hands when I am running out, I am asking Paul if he is okay, he acknowledged me enough that I knew he was conscious.

My number one concern was the heli was still running and he had the transmitter. If he or anyone else or if he passed out and dropped it, it could have turned throttle hold off. That would have put it back in idle 2.

I ran it out on the flightline and stepped on it while killing the engine.

Wanted to be safe.

Paul is okay, small 3" cut on his back. I personally along with my wife took care of him cleaning it and bandaging it the rest of the day.

It did not even bleed.

Paul did a great job and the best any of us could have to try and stop a problem that went bad.

I preach to Mason that as a pilot and a spotter he always keeps his eye on the heli. As you can see he had a mad dash going on.

It can't be understated how luck the pilot and spotter were in this situation. That freeze frame says it all. Had the Main Rotor's rotation been opposite direction, we wouldn't be watching a full clip of the incident out of respect.
