With the lack of information made available by DJI. I am curious how big a receiver do I need to complete the build.

I have a Futaba Radio, so will need a Futaba FSST Receiver 2.4ghz.

All replies appreciated.

Thank you.

6 Channels is best. There is tons of info on DJI web site. Many how to setup videos.

What Futaba TX do you have?

I have the 8FG and I am using the SBUS setup works great on my F550 with the DJI NAZA V1 w/GPS

Is it the weekend yet?

my 450's built, adding the NAZA, GoPro and Spektrum 8 w/ telemetry today. This should be interesting.

how big a receiver do I need to complete the build.

Here is my channel assignments for my Hex with NAZA-M:
1) Throttle
2) Alerion
3) Elev
4) Rudder
5) Aux 2 (For 3 position switch to NAZA-M)
6) Aux 3 (For camera tilt control)
.
7) Another could be assigned for camera shutter control, but I just set camera to take pictures every 10 sec and then throw out most pictures.
So 7 channels for this setup with shutter control.
.
Seems like extra channels always come in handy later on.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Even with "lack of information made available by DJI," this is info is located in the Quick Start guide:

Everything is in this guide

Refer to pages 5 and 6 for all the inputs and outputs needed to operate the system. Using an S-Bus RX you only need to connect one wire between the RX and MC.

I hate to be an "RTFM" kinda person, but come on...
