Selling my used airframe, want to finish building my Hexacopter so this has to go.
I bought this heli from a buddy on the forum after it was involved in a crash and rebuilt it.
The heli has Fusuno frames, new spindle, mainshaft, tail output shaft, DFC links and all the misc bearings that always need replacing after a crash (main/tail thrusts, mainshaft, etc....).
The bad - I never did replace the canopy and really never flew it much, the canopy fits up but it isn't pretty. I will post some detailed pictures this evening. Additionally the tail has a small crack in the paint surface on the top. Not overly noticeable but definitely not perfect either.
- I have flown this machine several times and it is silky smooth below 2K on the head. Anything above 2K produces a high speed vibration in the tail control rod. I have been through it top to bottom, replacing all the shafts, etc... but just can't track it down. I'm 99% certain it's coming from the belt slapping (at the farthest adjustment points) and a new belt would solve the problem. I just really don't have the time or desire to sit down put another belt on with 6 other helis and wanting to finish this hex.
I will take a video of it this evening before I pull the electronics out of it, to show it flying and how it is below 2K and above 2K.
How I would like to
