I have just acquired a Kalt Cyclone (c. mid-80's) helicopter at a swap meet. It is complete apart from the user manual. Any ideas where I may acquire one from or just even a copy.

I'm not familar with this model, but from searching for you I found they seem to have a Clclone, and a Cyclone 2. Not sure which you have yet.

Cyclone or Cyclone II

Yes - that's the one - not sure which it is but have attached a photo. Have been sent a Cyclone II Instruction manual but keen to know if it is a II or not.

Cyclone had a smooth tail belt and the original had a 'flexiplate' head. The later Mk1 cyclone had K5 head.

Cyclone 2 had toothed tail belt and K5 head. It may have had the Baron type pitch change mechanism - I'm not sure.

The Major difference between the two I think was the Toothed Tail belt on the Mk2 version.

That is the Flexiplate head and the tail belt appears to be perectly smooth on both sides which makes it an old (original) Kalt Cyclone Mk1..
