Just have a quick question to any scale guys who might have tried going from 6s to 7S, how much of a difference was it?. The reason I'm asking is, I have all my other scalers set up on 630KV motors running 6S but on this one I wanted to try a 550kv, well I didn't know it was going to drop my headspeed down that much and even though it will fly and flies really smooth on 6S with a low headspeed but I don't like flying on the edge, I mean it feels like its going to fall out of the sky. I was thinking on going with a single 7S pack, just wondering how much difference it will make you think? Has anyone done this????

I am running through the Hirobo clutch so pinion choices are only 9 or 10 tooth clutch bell choices and I'm already at 85% on my ESC and any higher doesn't make a difference, didn't want to change to 630kv because I just bought this motor brand new and it runs cool on 6S so I thought 7S would give me the perfect headspeed but I have to buy a new ESC and 7S batt....

Thanks

I flew my Hirobo EC120 on a 7S pack. Actually I had a 3s one side and a 4s the other side to keep things balanced. It flew great, so much so that someone bought it.
