you need to set your throttle endpoints in fixed endpoints mode

First a few pictures, then a few comments.

DX7S and receiver Binding info:

Talon 90 ESC info:

-----

From your description, the Talon isn't seeing low throttle from your transmitter, or at least what it sees, it doesn't recognize it as low enough.

-----

First, make sure the ESC cable is plugged into the THRO channel of your AR8000, and that the cable isn't plugged in upside down.

Next, set your DX7s throttle stick to full low, and the trim to full low. Have your throttle endpoints at their default of 100%.

Bind the receiver to the TX. This will set the receiver failsafe setting for the throttle channel to full low stick, full low trim.

-----

According to the Talon instructions, once you're ready to fire up the motor, turn the TX on first, then with the throttle at mid stick and low trim, plug the main battery into the ESC.

Then move the throttle stick to full low, with full low trim. If all is well, the ESC should work for you.

-----

If you get this far, program the ESC for fixed endpoint heli throttle type, then go through the TX/ESC calibration process. You can then leave it as is, or try out the governor features.

Hi Dkshema,

How r u sir?

I used this thread and was able to get it working..

http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=535449

However, i havent field tested it as yet. Not using the governor mode at the moment.

I did exactly as in the attached pictures. Do i need to check the fail safe settings? or are they inbuilt as that thread doesnt shows how i do that.

Most likely taking care of getting the throttle endpoints set correctly got you up and running.
