Today I was going to attach the throttle arm (plastic) to the carburator but the arm felt extremly loose on the carb and I had to tighten it really hard for it not to slip on the carbshaft. Is this really correct or am I missing some part? I have the plastic arm and a lockwasher + the screw is this all you need?

That is all I have on mine. I didn't have any issues.

Thanks!

I did notice that the carb shaft had a flat side to it so I thought that you should put the plastic arm on the carb arm and lock it with the flat side. However, as it is now the plastic throttle arm is only pressed against the carb shaft. Is this really correct?

I think it would be much safer to lock the plastic arm on the carb shaft instead of just having the plastic arm pressing towards the carb shaft. As it is now it could slipp very easily I think.....

looks to me in this manual, that the lock washer does go against the barrel.

Simmer is correct. Lock washer against barrel first.
