I would like to program my Gaui Nx4 to my dx6i because my dx8 is in the shop at the moment could someone tell me the settings i would need to use when making a set up on my dx6i i have no idea where to start.
I'm running an Ikon fbl unit
Mks Ds8910 on tail
Ds515m on cyclic and throttle
Seems like my Trex 700e program on my remote would work but the throttle is reversed what setting in its program would i need to change.

Having just gone through setting up a helicopter with an Ikon FBL unit, I'd suggest you follow the setup instructions that come with the Ikon system. It pretty much takes you by the hand and walks you through the setup, function by function.

Treat each helicopter as its own entity unless you really know what you're doing (and it sounds as if you don't). Do not rely upon the setup of someone else, or a different machine in your own transmitter.

If channels need to be reversed to get them to work, then so be it.

Learn to set up your heli, you will be able to set up any heli. Depend upon someone else to do so, you'll never get off the ground.

I do know how to setup one of these machines my experience with Ikon is just very limited. I'm used to setting up beastx. I would have no problems at all setting it up on my 8ch but the 6ch has just got me confused due to the confusing lay out and the lack of features.

The Ikon software pretty much walks you through the setup. Few of the radio features are used, the CCPM mixing is taken care of in the FBL unit, and the software program.

The amount of knowledge you actually need for the transmitter is limited to knowing how to turn it on and perhaps reverse channels.

Pitch curves and throttle curves need to be set, but that is not something that requires much skill.

You've spent more time writing and waiting for a solution to fall in your lap than it would take to just bite the bullet and go through the setup process.

Even were someone to send you their setup stuff, you would still need to do stuff in the radio to make it happen.

Canned setups don't usually work all that well -- if your linkages are slightly different, you're using different brand servos (that may not turn the same direction as those owned by the other guy) -- all sorts of small things can be different.
