Hello to everybody on this forum. I have three wookong autopilots on my helicopters, now i finish to program new one DJI Naza-h,ok.
Now i have one question to DJI,can please answer me why a price of wookong-h&Naza-h are so diferent? They have most same functions,Chiper Naza have better option - no altitude limit + and wookong over 50m disconect to ATTI mode,so after some flights Naza -h is queit better system.WHY WOOKONG-H SYSTEM COST SO MUCH??
Dji Naza -h 390 eu,Wookong-h 1200 eu.

What is with Wookong-h users they pay so much for theat system???
I would like to Dji answer to my post

Perhaps, then, you should direct your question directly to DJI/Woo-Kong via their website, instead of posting here on a forum they may not actually follow on a regular basis.

If you knew the timeline of when these devices came out, you may better understand the how and why, but the simple fact of the matter is if you feel the Naza H is a better product for you in your application, then that's what you should buy. No one is forcing you to purchase the Wookong H.

DJI is under no obligation to you to explain their pricing structure, you are free to buy or not buy any of their product as it fits your needs.

Have you asked Enzo why his cars cost so much, after all they are simply 5 wheels and a body with an engine. I can get to the grocery store with a MUCH cheaper car...

I could be mistaken but the main difference between the two units (other than one was released much more recently than the other) is that the expensive unit has waypoint capabilities and the other doesn't. People needing waypoint functionality are usually willing to pay the $.

This is like asking why a heli company charges more for a 700 sized heli than a 250 sized. They both do the same thing. Why the wookong is more pricey is the waypoint capabilities. Don't know what you are looking for from dji what would their answer be that would satisfy you?

Why people pay more for wookong over naza? - waypoints. And why does dji charge more for wookong over naza?- waypoints. and cause people pay it.

Actually, I'm NOT a DJI distributor. I buy the systems I setup on my machines for customers from Empire RC.

What they charge is really up to them, what they believe the Market will bear. If they want to sell more Wookong H systems, maybe they'll lower the price, but they owe YOU no explanation on what they charge.

Bobos,

The simple answer is one system has more capability then the other. Way-point is a large aspect of the software and that is really what the price difference is.

No difference?
If you can't see the difference either your units are defective or you didn't set them up properly. The Wookong and the Naza are clearly two different devices with different capabilities. I would also suggest you not be rude to people when you come here asking for help.

When possible shoot first. When that isn't possible shoot fast.

Seems as if you were willing to pay the price for each one. Why did you do that?

Chris is correct. The vendor does not have to justify their pricing schedule. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Find an equivalent elsewhere that costs what you are willing to pay.

Since you OWN both systems, tell US what the differences are, please.

I would agree that a manufacturer is not obligated to explain their pricing...but, would it not make sense to give a reason so people can decide if they want the more expensive one? There can be reasons they may not want to though.
Anyway, it sounds like waypoints is the top answer, which seems reasonable enough.

I spent some time digging around the DJI site this morning, as well as that of some of their dealers, trying to figure out WHAT the differences are before chiming in on the topic.

I saw lots of hype, it was all pretty short on actual detail, and there was even some question in my mind after the smoke cleared as to what actually showed up in the box at your doorstep when you bought either one. Also seeing the same basic unit for widely varying $$$ amounts for the SAME unit fueled my question about what would be in the box when it arrived.
