How do you tell that the gyro is seeing the sensor? How do you adjust the setting after setup?

Thanks Bob
Depending on how hard it is to adjust, I may just run my multigov if it seems problematic.

It's very easy to set up and seems to work very well. You can adjust the spool up rate and the recovery rate (after bogging the engine).

The view menu (as previously noted) is where you can view the transition of the magnet across the sensor. This works well and I was able to troubleshoot an incorrect polarity magnet in my cooling fan.

Scatchin the head on this one and starting to get fustrated...
Can't seem to get the gov setup right. I set the curves up in my TX(DX7SE) but the 2nd and 3rd speeds show up on the computer and the skookum dongle(mini screen), but not in the movement of the servo. The 1st limit is 1700, 2nd 1850, 3rd 2000. Also in the normal position it slows down as it nears the top of the curve which I don't want. I have tried to adjust the ramping but it goes back to the orignal factory sets and it won't let adjust them in the computer. only the skookum dongle. I also tried to set up my multigov but it can't see through Skookum. Help please.

but not in the movement of the servo.
FYI, if you're looking for the throttle servo movement without the engine running, you're not likely to see much. The gov won't enable if the engine is not running.

Leave the ramp at default at least until you get through the throttle/gov wizard and have the engine running.
Here's one tip I can think of. Check your TX output monitor to make sure the throttle channel matches the throttle curves shown in the wizard.
N: 0,40%,40%
I1: 60%,60%,60%
I2: 100%,100%,100%.

On a spectrum with travel set to 100%,100% and throttle cut at 0 that is
N: -100%,-20%,-20%
I1: 20%,20%,20%
I2: 100%,100%,100%.
Hold is -129%

It shouldn't vary much from that unless you have to adjust the servo travel and/or throttle cut.

BTW, some recommend setting the N curve to 0,0,0 to avoid the possibility of going inverted when you've forgotten to switch to i1 or i2. The SK can ramp into gov no problem but I don't recommend this. My way of thinking is if you're going to fly a helicopter, you ought to know how the controls work. If you want to spool up straight into gov, flip to i1 and then release hold.

On the Spektrum...
This is the correct one:
N: 0,40%,40%
I1: 60%,60%,60%
I2: 100%,100%,100%.

I am pretty sure I got it now. The TX is showing the correct movement, so I will just have to start it up and check it out. Thanks for all the help.
